PPC has witnessed a few changes since it first set up its stall back in 1888. It was listed on the JSE in 1910, when a stripling like Anglo American was still only a twinkle in Sir Ernest Oppenheimer’s eye.
PPC grew steadily during the 20th century, adding operations across SA and expanding to Botswana and Zimbabwe. More recently it grew further, to the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia and Rwanda...
