I don’t know about the rest of the country, but Joburg has been such a cheerful city since Friday, and right through the weekend. Spring seems to have arrived prematurely — or am I exaggerating?
Stand on your balcony and you are immediately struck by colour and movement on the streets. People are sauntering down the road in shorts and summer shirts. Birds are chirping cheerfully from their perches...
