A comparison between Master Drilling’s 2024 performance and its 2016 results highlights how closely the company’s fortunes track the mining cycle. Headline earnings rose from US14.3c a share at the last commodity peak in 2016 to US17.7c a share in 2024 — a modest increase over eight years, marked by volatility along the way.
