SA Corporate Real Estate (SAC) is a JSE-listed real estate investment trust (Reit) that owns a diversified portfolio of industrial, retail, commercial and residential buildings located primarily in the major metropolitan areas of SA, with a secondary node in Zambia.Initially listed as a property unit trust under the management of Marriott, and later Old Mutual, SAC converted to an internally managed property company and was granted Reit status by the JSE in January 2014. In the full-year period to December 2016, SAC delivered growth in distributions of 8.7%, leading to a compound annual growth rate of 9.3% in distributions over the past five years.
