This luxury home has just been sold for R30m, which is believed to be a new price record for the East Rand. It has five bedrooms, five bathrooms and a separate cottage and staff quarters on a property of 1,766m². Until now, the highest price achieved in Bedfordview was R28.5m. The suburb is popular for its proximity to major road networks as well as a number of private schools, including St Benedict’s, St Andrew’s and King David.
