US President Donald Trump welcomes Egypt’s Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to the White House for a first state visit. Trump was lavish in his praise of al-Sisi, who overthrew his country’s democratically elected president in a 2013 coup, killed hundreds of protesters and imprisoned thousands since taking power.
