Eskom "would like to state categorically that is has no contracts in place with Trillian Capital Partners and/or associated companies," the state-owned power utility said in a statement on Thursday. Eskom said that following a Sunday Times report in which a former Trillian executive said the firm plundered various state entities, it had "been inundated with media queries about the contract it has allegedly awarded to advisory group Trillian Capital Partners". But Eskom admitted Trillian was among consultants it hired in 2015. Others included Deloitte, Barclays, McKinsey, Citibank and the Public Investment Corporation. "There is currently no master services agreement (MSA) in effect with Mckinsey, Regiments or Trillian," Eskom said in its statement.
