Facebook and Twitter remove China content about Hong Kong
The Chinese government has been using social media to criticise the Hong Kong protests, and says it has the right to get its message across

Beijing — China said on Tuesday that it has the right to put out its own views after Twitter and Facebook said they had dismantled a state-backed social media campaign originating in mainland China that sought to undermine protests in Hong Kong.
Twitter said on Monday that it suspended 936 accounts and the operations appeared to be a co-ordinated, state-backed effort originating in China. ..
