Washington — US president-elect Joe Biden has picked an Obama-administration veteran, Kurt Campbell, to be his senior official for Asia policy, including the relationship with China, a spokesperson for Biden's transition said on Wednesday.
Campbell, who served as the top US diplomat for Asia under former president Barack Obama and secretary of state Hillary Clinton, is considered an architect of their “pivot to Asia” strategy, a vaunted but so far limited US rebalancing of resources to the region...
