Washington — President Donald Trump downplayed the severity of a huge cyberattack on US government infrastructure and suggested that China may have been responsible — even as other US officials, including secretary of state Mike Pomeo, are convinced Russia was the perpetrator.
Trump's comment on Twitter contradicted assessments from Pomeo and other senior officials in his own administration who’ve blamed Moscow for the intrusion of at least half a dozen federal agencies...
