Washington — US president-elect Joe Biden on Tuesday added to his White House staff on Tuesday with the announcement of his White House counsel and several senior advisers, drawing from his campaign roster to fill key West Wing posts.
The move came as President Donald Trump’s long-shot effort to get the US supreme court to overturn his election defeat faced its first test later on Tuesday with a key hearing in a Pennsylvania court. Judges were due to hear arguments on Pennsylvania’s motion to dismiss the Trump campaign’s lawsuit seeking to block certification of Biden’s projected victory in the state. ..
