Global workers lost $3.7-trillion in earnings due to Covid-19, says ILO
There is still a great deal of uncertainty, but UN agency expects most countries will start to recover in the second half of 2021 as vaccination programmes take effect

Genva — About 8.8% of global working hours were lost in 2020 due to the pandemic, roughly four times the number lost in the 2009 financial crisis, while the pandemic has cost global workers $3.7-trillion in income, the International Labour Organisation (ILO) said on Monday.
But the ILO said there are “tentative signs” of recovery...
