Only 40% of infants younger than six months are exclusively breastfed globally, while 820,000 child deaths can be avoided each year if guidelines are followed

Kuala Lumpur — Not enough breastfeeding costs the global economy almost $1bn each day due to lost productivity and healthcare costs, researchers said on Friday, as health experts urged more support for nursing mothers.
