Mamelodi Sundowns have not given up on Jeremy Brockie and are preparing another bid for the star striker’s signature. SuperSport United rejected Sundowns’ initial offer for the New Zealand hitman’s services, but Brazilians coach Pitso Mosimane has seemingly raised the stakes. He is confident that a deal can be concluded before the transfer window closes at the end of August. United have said Brockie was not for sale, but an insider told Business Day that Sundowns were prepared to offer their Tshwane rivals about R10m plus either Cuthbert Malajila or Mogakolodi Ngele. Malajila and Ngele spent last season on loan with Premier Soccer League (PSL) champions Bidvest Wits and the insider said that Mosimane hoped to sweeten the deal with one of the two players.
