Police Minister Fikile Mbalula has again lashed out at fellow ANC MP Makhosi Khoza‚ accusing her of ducking him and investigators. Khoza may want to look over her shoulder because Mbalula also implied that there were police watching her without her knowledge. This week, Parliament said it would work with the police in providing protection to Khoza‚ as she had been receiving threats for some time. Last week‚ the outspoken critic of President Jacob Zuma showed journalists messages that her daughter had also been receiving, threatening her life. This came at a time of heightened political tension. Other prominent people who have been victims of intimidation recently include the SACP’s Solly Mapaila and former South African Social Security Agency CEO Thokozani Magwaza.
