The DA is to lay criminal charges against President Jacob Zuma, as well charges under the Public Finance Management Act and the Prevention and Combatting of Corrupt Activities Act against Eskom CEO Brian Molefe, Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown and Mineral Resources Minister Mosebenzi Zwane. The opposition party is also calling for the immediate resignation of Brown, Zwane, Molefe and the Eskom board following the release of damning allegations contained in former Public Protector Thuli Madonsela's state capture report. If Molefe does not resign he should be fired, the party says.
