WITH just over half of votes captured in Gauteng on Thursday, the battle between the ANC and DA remained too close to call at about 4.30pm.Just after 4pm, the total provincial vote passed the 50% mark, with the ANC holding 44.39% of the vote, the DA 40.19% and the EFF 10.18%.In Tshwane the ANC led the DA by the slimmest of margins – 42.87% to 42.72% – while in Johannesburg the DA led the ANC 42.09% to 42.02%. The EFF had 10.52% and 10% in Tshwane and Johannesburg respectively.
