THE African National Congress (ANC) has released its list of favoured candidates for provincial legislature as well as the list of provincial representative members it wishes to see ascend to the National Assembly.The release comes the day after ANC secretary-general Gwede Mantashe submitted the party’s National Assembly list as well as 18 other lists to the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) on Tuesday.The provincial legislature list shows the names of preferred representatives for legislatures while the province-to-national list carries the names of those whom members wish to see ascend from provincial office to the National Assembly.Placement and rank on the list do not indicate the chances of a member taking the place of a premier candidate in a province, as this is a decision made by the national leadership.Eastern CapeEastern Cape Premier Noxolo Kiviet appears at number 23 on the provincial legislature list from the Eastern Cape.Free StateANC Free State provincial chair Pr...
