BUSINESSMAN and music industry mogul Thembinkosi Nciza has entered the political fray, springing to the defence of President Jacob Zuma against a public attack last week by another businessman and socialite, Kenny Kunene.Mr Kunene railed against Mr Zuma’s "tyrannic" leadership in a widely publicised letter, also dropping subtle hints that he was involved in Julius Malema’s plans to seek support for a new political party to challenge the African National Congress (ANC).In political circles Mr Nciza is known as a staunch ANC’s funder and lobbyist, and has been linked with the failed campaign to challenge Mr Malema at the ANC Youth League national conference in Bloemfontein in 2008.Mr Malema fell out of favour with Mr Zuma when he led the campaign to have Mr Zuma toppled at the ANC’s national elective conference in Mangaung in December 2012.
