“An ambassador is an honest man sent abroad to lie for his country” (Henry Wotton).

Bruce Koloane doesn’t quite fit the bill, as he was already a liar before he was feather-bedded  to the Netherlands.

Instead of “apologising” to former president Jacob Zuma he should apologise to us citizens and resign his sinecure in Europe.
