Peter Bruce’s excuses for voting ANC are simply incomprehensible. After 25 years of ANC misrule he believes the ANC can change its spots, from a leopard to a buffalo. Dream on, I say. He commits to voting ANC provincially because the DA colludes with the EFF. The DA in the Western Cape doesn’t have to collude with anyone because they received enough votes. It would be the same in Gauteng if they received enough votes. Bruce states that Cyril Ramaphosa has “consistently shown courage and rectitude” and then goes on to concede that CR is “weak”. He concedes that a less than 58% ANC majority puts Ramaphosa at risk, acknowledging the Mabuza/Magashule faction plans to oust him.
