I was shocked by Business Day’s reports on Dr Iqbal Survé’s testimony to the commission of inquiry into the affairs of the Public Investment Corporation. If a man of his obvious intelligence and education is so blatantly racist about whites, what chance can there be as far as racism is concerned for we lesser mortals? Even more horrifying is his chairmanship of the Independent Media Group, which has allowed him to push his racist views on South African society at large. I trust any remaining white readers of his newspapers, not to mention his long-suffering advertisers, will take appropriate action. James CunninghamCamps Bay
