It is really none of anyone’s business who the ANC presents to the electorate for consideration to be placed in government to run our affairs. Unless you are a member of the ANC, you have no right to moan about the choices of their members. They are what members of the ANC, therefore the ANC as a party, regards as competence. However, as a citizen you carry the ultimate responsibility to decide whether anyone presented to you at election time should be in government. Your duty is to view the candidates presented to you and decide for yourself whether you are comfortable to have people mentioned in the list to be in your parliament. If you do not trust the people on the party’s list, or have no confidence in their ability to run the government efficiently, do not vote for that party.
