I would like to highlight the missing counterpoint to the government’s declaration of a national minimum wage (Lies, lies and more lies – without sound education there are no jobs, May 14). That is, there is no definition of what constitutes a minimum skill level that is deserving of that minimum wage. Surely the one requires the other? Mark Turner Hartbeespoort Dam
