History is once again challenging the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) to take its rightful place in SA’s political landscape. President Jacob Zuma has blundered one too many times. Nkandlagate and Guptagate are the most glaring examples. SA needs a party with an impressive track record in serving her citizens. Only one party can save many generations to come. That is the IFP and its leader, Inkosi Mangosuthu Buthelezi. His views were always consistent. He has no shortcuts in solving the challenges facing this country. He has never made empty promises nor created the impression that things are simple when the going gets tough. He does not have a good story to tell, but his actions do that, coupled with political maturity. All the IFP leadership and its members need to go to the people on the ground.
