The planned coup by the DA by trying to impeach President Jacob Zuma, and calls for early election, are undermining our rights to be governed by the party of our choice. The DA’s motion of no confidence in the president did not win and that should send a clear message to the opposition party. Calling for an early election is going to put the country into a situation where we are faced with political instability. Clearly, the DA does not take the people of SA seriously. We don’t want to be downgraded again because of Mmusi Maimane. Yes, the ANC is faced with its own challenges, but an early election would just plunge the country into crisis and we don’t need that. We should learn from other countries where undermining electorates resulted in turmoil. Clearly, the DA doesn’t care about consequences. It must wait for 2019. It’s not that far off.
