The ANC has distorted itself into an unbelievable position. Talk about becoming a world laughing stock – "there are none so blind as those who will not see". The party’s rules and procedures were no doubt founded on the assumption that the ANC would remain sound and its intentions patriotic, and so were designed to keep it on course. Now, when that assumption can’t be sustained, its procedures are being used to object to the truth from the elders, long respected and ethical party stalwarts, Makhosi Khoza and anyone who knows they have to speak truth to power to cleanse the party of its major evils. Its procedures cannot have been intended to prevent it being corrected when it is clearly on a wrong course. Doesn’t the ANC have a rule saying it and its leaders may not shaft the country?
