I was not surprised by the reaction of black callers on 702 talk radio station when a black woman tweeted an offensive tweet, comparing black babies with dogs. I previously criticised the Gupta family, who are Indian by origin, for their racist behaviour towards black Africans during the infamous wedding at Sun City. Now, black people are turning a blind eye when racist comments are made by one of their black sisters or brothers. The management of 702 and some presenters are wrong to tolerate such behaviour — if the same tweet had come from a white social media producer, they would have suspended him or her, without going through the "merits" of the case. Because the producer is black, she is still at work earning her salary. Lazola VabazaPretoria
