Keir Starmer, Britain’s prime minister, didn’t have to wait long for his first major crisis to arrive after comprehensively ousting the former Conservative government. Riots and online discord have wracked the country, and there is much  to learn from how Starmer’s administration has dealt with it.

After a young man born of a Rwandan immigrant family murdered three young girls in an as yet unexplained knife attack frenzy at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class, the country has seen unrest on the streets and anger in social media. Sadly, the racist right wing in the UK opportunistically pounced on the incident and it stands accused of organising violent anti-Muslim riots...
