All about the country cricket lovers have been taking a previously unimaginably high interest in the IPL (Indian Premier League). Whereas it might have been on TV in the background, people are now watching whole matches. Even some of those who love Test cricket and said they would never watch T20 have found themselves drawn to the spectacle in the desert. ’
The good news is that the impasse between Cricket SA and the SA Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (Sascoc) over the availability of the forensic audit report is over. Sascoc have walked away fearing their insistence on reading it, and Cricket SA’s resistance, would end in a costly court battle for which they do not have the funds...
