Tell me the company you keep and I’ll tell you who you are, the saying goes. If the ANC Women’s League, ANC Youth League and Umkhonto weSizwe Military Veterans Association are any indication of what the potential future holds, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma has already put together a powerful shadow cabinet of the stupid. Should she win first prize at the ANC’s December carnival, and unleash it on the world, it’s going to be a long and painfully moronic four years.
Already Jacob Zuma, mentor to mediocracy and mendacity alike, has done much to savage intellectualism. Slowly and with great purpose and focus, he has single-handedly reduced the government’s collective IQ way down into the double digits.
