Another week of blissfully ignorant domestic cricket happily spanning three days a week and keeping everyone happily preoccupied while the dust settles around the rubble of the collapsed Global League. Did you notice the Titans "managing" AB de Villiers’s time by leaving him at home when they travelled to East London? They have an overabundance of talent and need to rotate the squad just to give everyone a game, but it made perfect sense – and should still make sense in national colours. Cutting back on travel days and increasing family time was never the issue, it was the lack of clarity that caused the confusion.Talking of confusion, there remains a great deal of it concerning the rubble. Last week, a representative from the management team of the Durban Qalandars called me to complain that it had not received a reply from Cricket SA for more than three weeks.
