These efforts are driving a trend that reduces time spent in conventional hospitals, with the day hospital becoming a key player in the market. Taking advantage of this shift in healthcare is JSE-listed Advanced Health, a healthcare group specialising in day hospitals in SA and Australia, with facilities aimed at offering a professional and affordable service for most surgical procedures.
