GARETH VAN ONSELEN: The interminably dull and dreary Dlamini-Zuma
Making your way through Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma’s Twitter timeline is like injecting yourself with glue. It is a grand exercise in inane observation and banal insight. As you scroll down you can almost feel the glue taking effect. By the time you are twenty or thirty tweets deep, the glue, now cement, causes your brain to stall. Anything more and it becomes positively painful just to try to think. Take these five brave reflections, which followed pretty much directly after one another: "The initiative of the #ANCWL to get our members know our community members, issues they facing and how we can assist each other #NDZ."OK, good stuff. Compassion and all that. "We should be a catalyst of change in our communities by caring for one another. If your neighbor has a crisis go assist."Yip. That’s compassion. Gotcha.
