Why are people so ignorant? Is there a way to stop people from being stupid? If so, how? I couldn’t help thinking these terrible thoughts when I read this weekend about US President Donald Trump and the Republican Party’s failure to scrap Obamacare — the party and Trump’s most fervent electoral promise. What a fiasco. Someone immediately tweeted, "If Trump voters are upset by the Obamacare debacle, there is a good chance they are going to be even more disappointed when Mexico doesn’t pay for that wall." Did people ever really think that would happen? They must have. But it seems so obviously unlikely, why did voters fall for it like so many lemmings?
