Pravin Gordhan threatened anew just as Eskom gets nuclear funding job

It is no coincidence that Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan was charged with fraud in the same week that Energy Minister Tina Joemat-Pettersson passed the buck on the nuclear deal to the electricity utility Eskom. On Tuesday, as National Prosecuting Authority head Shaun Abrahams was announcing that Gordhan would appear in court to face fraud charges, Joemat-Pettersson was in Parliament briefing the energy portfolio committee about changes to the proposed nuclear deal.
