As readers will know, I was recently in Copenhagen: an interesting location from which to follow the controversy in SA over the National Health Insurance Bill.
Supporters of the NHI, or at least those who recognise the unsustainability of deep divisions between a majority of citizens dependent on an undependable state and a minority whose lives are largely privatised, often point to the success of socialism in Scandinavia. ..
