In an appointment that completely missed the radar of corporate SA, Bajabulile Tshabalala, a seasoned executive who has occupied senior positions at Transnet and companies in the private sector including directorships of Standard Bank and MTN, was appointed in August 2018 as vice-president finance and CFO of the African Development Bank (AfDB).
The AfDB finances large-scale projects in line with its mandate of growing the continent’s economic capacity and improving the lives of its citizens. ..
