Donald Trump may suffer from apprenticitis, a condition that takes its name from his former The Apprentice ‘reality’ television show
As US President Donald Trump lurches from one crisis to the next, some observers – idiots to Trump – think he’s in need of a medical check-up. The man many regard as the worst president in US history appears to be suffering from a severe case of apprenticitis, a condition that takes its name from The Apprentice "reality" television show he once hosted. The symptoms are impulsive behaviour, babbling and making threats, the sort of things an apprentice electrician might do. But a president with his finger on the nuclear button is supposed to behave better than an appy sparky. Apprenticitis should not be confused with appendicitis, a condition associated with the almost useless body part known as the appendix. If Trump were an appendix in world affairs, apprenticitis would not be the kind of condition that could mushroom out of control at the speed of a tweet.
