With all the so-called judges knocking around in the US right now, the Insider thinks he’s found one who could be a force for good in the world. ABC News is reporting that Frank Caprio, a municipal court judge, was forced to choose between the spirit and letter of the law when a woman appeared in his court to contest a ticket given to her for parking in a place where such a flagrantly rebellious act was forbidden between 8am and 10am. When he noticed the time the ticket was issued, things got a little alternative. "It was issued at 9.59 and 58 seconds. You violated city ordinances!" he said, struggling to hide his amusement. The defendant said her car clock showed 10am. "So now you’re blaming the car clock!" the judge roared before descending into giggles and dismissing the case.
