DEPARTMENT of Home Affairs director-general Mkuseli Apleni has ordered a probe into claims that some staff members of 24-hour news channel Africa News Network 7 (ANN7), a subsidiary of the Gupta-owned Infinity Media, are working in South Africa without proper documentation.Eyewitness News investigated allegations made last month by Rajesh Sundaram, a former ANN7 consulting editor, of widespread visa irregularities.Mr Sundaram left South Africa earlier this month, citing intimidation and lack of payment.
