The Public Servants Association (PSA) on Monday said it had accepted a settlement offer from the SA Revenue Service (Sars) and is no longer a part of the strike at the tax agency. The National Education, Health and Allied Workers’ Union (Nehawu) is still on strike while it consults its members on the latest offer by the tax agency. Stefan Viljoen, PSA labour relations officer, said on Monday afternoon that the PSA signed an agreement with Sars shortly before 3pm.
