FATF notes progress in SA’s actions to address greylisting
But the Treasury says it will be a challenge to address the outstanding issues by February next year

The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) has announced nine upgrades for SA of the 22 actions which had to be taken to address deficiencies in its system for combatting money laundering and the financing of terrorism.
In a statement issued on Friday after the FATF October plenary held in Paris, the National Treasury said that eight of the nine had been “largely addressed” and one “partly addressed”. ..
