The ANC will be on tenterhooks on Wednesday when voters in Gauteng head to the polls.  The province is expected to be a key battleground with opposition parties hoping to build on the victories they gained in the 2016 local government elections.

Opposition parties in the province, the economic hub of the country, have smelt blood after the governing party lost a significant amount of support in the 2016 elections.
