EFF leader Julius Malema said he had repeatedly asked his former ANC Youth League (ANCYL) comrade Sindiso Magaqa to join the EFF as a regional organiser. Malema said Magaqa — who died on Monday following injuries he suffered during a shooting in July — had indicated that he wanted to discuss the matter with his wife before making a final decision. "I was still waiting for him and this happened‚" Malema said. Malema was speaking after he graduated from the University of SA (Unisa) in Pretoria on Wednesday evening. He graduated with a bachelor of arts (BA) Honours degree‚ a year after he had obtained his BA from the same institution.
