Ten new senior employees have been appointed to head departments in the City of Tshwane in a move that mayor Solly Msimanga says will bring stability to his administration. Msimanga said six group head positions had already been filled, with two of the group heads taking up their positions on October 1. Stephens Notoane has been appointed as group head for utility services, while Sebatsatso Mekhoe became the group head for community and social development services. Gerald Shingange was appointed group head for human capital management and Zukiswa Ntsikeni has become the group head for customer relations management. Nanto Memela is the new group head for housing and human settlement, while Verusha Morgan is in charge of group property. "I am confident we have reassembled the best possible team to turn this ship around," Msimanga said.
