DA smells a rat in Ben Ngubane’s resignation
Spokesperson Natasha Mazzone says the party has noted that the chairperson’s resignation follows revelations of the capture of Eskom leadership by the Guptas
Ben Ngubane’s resignation as Eskom chairperson is highly suspicious‚ the DA has said. Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown announced Ngubane’s resignation‚ with immediate effect‚ late on Monday. Ngubane’s departure from Eskom comes as Parliament prepares to launch an inquiry into the affairs of the state-owned enterprise‚ while the DA has also called for a broader parliamentary investigation into state capture. The DA’s public enterprises spokesperson‚ Natasha Mazzone‚ said Ngubane still had a lot to answer for.
