DA praises court ruling that state’s move to withdraw SA from ICC is invalid

The DA has been vindicated by a court judgment, which found that the government’s decision to withdraw from the International Criminal Court (ICC) was invalid and unconstitutional, the party’s federal executive chairperson James Selfe said on Wednesday. Speaking immediately after the High Court in Pretoria ordered that the government revoke the notice of withdrawal from the Roman Statute, Selfe said the DA always believed that the decision was irrational.
