Asian shares lose ground after ECB holds rates steady
European Central Bank widely seen easing its policy in September as the S&P500 slips from record high
Tokyo — Asian share prices dropped on Friday following mixed US earnings reports and after the European Central Bank (ECB) disappointed those investors who had expected an immediate easing while the euro held above two-year lows struck overnight.
