South African futures were weaker on Wednesday as the JSE closed down and the Dow opened flat amid mixed European markets.Volumes traded on the JSE all share amounted to R28bn on the day compared to an average trading day’s R20bn.The Dow was 0.03% off soon after the JSE’s close. The FTSE 100 added 0.46%, but the DAX 30 dropped 0.6%.The all share closed 1.64% lower at 58,010.20 points and the blue-chip top 40 dropped 1.6%.
